A short nonfiction piece, titled "Someone to Come Home to," about how my life improved when I adopted a greyhound, was published recently in an anthology, now available on Amazon at this link. ReplyDeleteI sent you an email earlier, but I'm too excited not to say it again... one of my stories was published in an Australian magazine last night. It's going to press now, so I'm really happy. I can't wait to see it in print. It's my first published story!
Thanks, C. Yes, it's my first nonfiction piece in a book--and my first time on Amazon! I found out about the anthology because I knew the editor of the anthology a little bit. (It's not what you know, but who you know.) She liked my writing and asked me to submit something. Besides my poems, it's the shortest thing I've ever written.
